What are carrier oils?
Carrier oils are essentially made from plants. These oils are used to dilute certain essential oils and, in a way, carry them to your skin harmlessly. It is so because essential oils are quite potent and can cause irritation when applied directly to the skin. Career oils are usually unscented or very light scented. This is quite an advantage as they do not act as any kind of an obstacle with an essential oil’s therapeutic properties during Aromatherapy and more. These can also be used alone or with other oils as external nourishment to the skin.

For example, Olive oil is a career oil that comes from pressing olives and retrieving the liquid. It is best known as a healthy and edible oil for all. What are Spice oils?
Spice oils are concentrated liquids extracted from the spices. Each spice oil enhances one certain characteristic of the respective spice completely. These are widely used in the food industry for flavouring food, or in pharmaceutical-related preparations. These are extracted by the steam distillation method. It is used to extract antimicrobial and antioxidant compounds from the species and herbs like Cumin, Cinnamon, or Cardamom.

Spice oils are usually widely used for the purpose of cooking. Their unique contents also make them very useful in making cosmetic and personal hygiene products. Every spice oil contains a unique aroma of its own. Spice oils are also used in ensuring standardization in various products.
